Sail aboard Raybel - 12th September
A first chance to sail on Raybel following the completion of the major restoration works. We will be sailing to Queenborough on Friday 12th September, to join the Queenborough Classics Boat Festival taking place over the weekend of 13th and 14th. Join us to experience the thrill of Raybel returning to full sall for the first time in 40 years.

Destination: Queenborough Harbour, Isle of Sheppey c. 18.00

Getting there
By train - nearest station is Newington. Lower Halstow dock is 1.8 miles from the station, about a 40 minute walk along a quiet lane. Alternatively, take the 327 bus (click for timetable) from Newington to Lower Halstow Green, or a taxi (an 18 minute drive).
By bus – the number 327 bus goes to Lower Halstow Green from Chatham, Rainham, Gillingham, Sittingbourne. From there it is a 4 minute walk to Lower Halstow dock. View the bus timetable here
By car – the Village Hall offers parking for a small fee. On road parking is available at the end of Lapwing Drive, by the gate to the dock.
Getting back
By train – Queenborough train station is a 12 minute walk from the harbour, with trains to Sittingbourne every half an hour.
By car – if you have come by car you will need to arrange transport back to Lower Halstow.
